What We Do

Denbighshire Youth Service supports young people aged 11 to 25 years, providing both universal and targeted interventions.

Relationships with young people are based on voluntary engagement and underpinned by the five pillars in Youth Work in Wales: Principles & Purposes.

It provides a county-wide service using a variety of methods to engage with children and young people such as, centre based provisions run through youth centres and community buildings and outreach and street based projects including street games.

We offer bespoke education packages throughout alternative education programmes, including onsite and offsite delivering of accredited courses, qualifications and skill based development projects.

We engage with young people from more rural areas through our outreach.

We support young people in crisis or who are experiencing more challenging times in their lives through our 1-1 support service.
